A to Z: Photo Highlights From the 2023 National Farm Machinery Show
The National Farm Machinery Show (NFMS) has long been considered the largest indoor farm show in America, with more than 800 exhibitors and about 27 acres of exhibit space inside the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. The show offers the most complete selection of cutting-edge agricultural products, equipment, and services available in the farming industry.

A - AGI

B - BBI Liberty Spreader from Salford
Salford's BBI Liberty line of mechanical, ground-wheel-drive spreaders were on display at the 2023 NFMS. The unit's offer medium capacity for a variety of farming applications, and are built with the original precision Salford spreader system for targeted distribution of fertilizer and lime.

C - Case IH Patriot 50 Series Sprayer
One of the most popular exhibits at NFMS every year is the Case IH booth. Attendees learned about the company's latest technology and new products, including the Patriot 50 series sprayers. With an exceptional operator environment, complete vehicle control, enhanced connectivity solutions, and integrated spray technology, the Patriot 50 series sprayer is designed to help operators work more productively and achieve high-efficiency spraying.

D - Doyle Equipment Manufacturing
In 2019, CropLife IRON visited Doyle Equipment Manufacturing's new 208,000-square-foot facility in Palmyra, MO, to get an inside look at its equipment production. And at the 2023 NFMS, attendees got a first-hand view of some of the company's products, including these spreaders ranging from 2-ton to 8-ton capacity.

E - Equipment Everywhere
Equipment at the 2023 NFMS was literally everywhere, including near the entrance area of the Kentucky Exposition Center.

F - Farm Fit Momma
Titan International recently announced its sponsorship of Farm Fit Training — an online health and fitness program founded and run by Amanda Nigg, also known as @FarmFitMomma. At the 2023 NFMS, Nigg (on the left) helped attendees during the Strong Farmer Tire Flip Challenge.

G - GFX Displays
Trimble showcased its next-generation displays for precision agriculture applications — the Trimble GFX-1060 and GFX-1260 displays (pictured) — at the 2023 NFMS. The company also announced its new advanced path planning technology. This software-based technology gives Trimble end users and equipment manufacturers the ability to optimize and automate the trajectory, speed, and overall path design of industrial equipment to increase efficiency of work.

H - Hays 24-Ton Tender
The Hays 24-ton tender is designed around specific customer needs to make it one of the most user-friendly tenders on the market. Both the 24-ton two- (pictured) and three-compartment tenders also feature the well-known “Hays Standards,” including greater hopper slope and lower trailer weight.

I - Ingenuity
Ingenuity was on full display from NFMS exhibitors such as Praxidyn. Pictured: Praxidyn's Doug Applegate demonstrates the company's Mixmate Fusion Inductor. The innovative unit measures by flow for automatic chemical mixing from bulk products and a specially designed plastic inductor which measures by weight all in one compact unit. The small footprint of the Mixmate Fusion saves valuable floor space on spray tender trailers.

J - John Deere
Perhaps the biggest draw at the NFMS each year is the John Deere exhibit. At the 2023 show, attendees learned from experts about a variety of products, technology, and solutions introduced by the company, including tractors, balers, utility vehicles, planters, and more.

K - KSi
Innovation was on full display at the KSi booth, where attendees learned first hand about the company's technology. Products showcased included conveyors, seed treatment systems, and software.

L - Loftness
Based in Hector, MN, Loftness features a diverse product line, including vegetation management equipment, crop shredders, grain bagging equipment, and fertilizer and lime spreaders. Loftness spreaders (pictured is the F810) boast high durability, excellent spread pattern, and variable rate capabilities to meet the growing demand for precision application equipment.

M - Meridian
Meridian Seed Express Bulk Seed Tenders are manufactured to accommodate multiple objectives, helping operators take the work out of loading seed into their planters or drills, decreasing downtime in the field, while keeping tractors and planters moving. The company has optimized its tenders for various seed products and recommend the unit with the options and accessories that best suit your farming operation. The 240 Series Seed Express Bulk Seed Tender was on display at the 2023 NFMS.

N - New Holland
The New Holland exhibit stopped attendees in their tracks thanks in large part to the company's Guardian SP310F front boom sprayer. The sprayer integrates advanced precision technologies from Raven with high horsepower and large tanks to enhance efficiency in and out of the field while covering more acres per hour in the field.

O - Outback Guidance
Outback Guidance showcased precision ag solutions at the 2023 NFMS, including its MaveriX terminals. These units feature 7- and 10-inch high-definition touch screens with pinch-to-zoom capability and a new user interface for intuitive handling and customer experience. MaveriX terminals are easily connected with built-in WiFi to support for over-the-air SW updates and RTK NTRIP corrections without the need for additional hardware.

P - Precision Planting
One of the most highly trafficked booths at the 2023 NFMS was Precision Planting. A team of product specialists were on hand to give visitors the information they needed on a host of products, from emergence and downforce control, to meters and seed delivery.

Q - Quality Products and Equipment
Quality. That was perhaps the word used most by attendees, show organizers, and exhibitors to describe the innovation and technology on display at the Kentucky Exposition Center. Quality permeated 27 acres of indoor exhibit space with the latest cutting edge products, equipment, and services. R - Rogator 900 Series
The Fendt Rogator 900 Series was once again a popular stop for NFMS attendees. This self-propelled, rear-mounted boom applicator features one-button adjustable height and the ability to transform between liquid, dry pneumatic, and dry spinner delivery systems in as little as two hours.

S - Seed and Crop Protection
The NFMS has a reputation for being all about the equipment. And rightfully so. Nearly every major line of farming equipment was on display, allowing attendees to compare products side by side. But just as the agricultural industry has evolved over the last 50 years, so too has the NFMS. Equally present at the show was the crop input side of farming. From FMC to Syngenta (pictured), the latest in seed and crop protection technology dotted the exhibit halls of the NFMS.

T - TractionAg
Traction from TractionAg is an all-in-one farm management software that saves you time by integrating your accounting, payroll, field operations, and agronomy into one platform. Users can connect to Climate FieldView or John Deere Operations Center for automated field records. Traction offers an end-to-end agronomy mobile app and web application for farmers and agronomists, as well as a seamless workflow from soil sampling to creating prescriptions.

U - Unverferth
Unverferth Manufacturing showcased its extensive portfolio of equipment brands at the 2023 NFMS, including its Pro-Force Fertilizer Application Products. The Pro-Force lineup of dry fertilizer, compost, poultry litter, and cover crop spreaders feature operator-friendly innovations, top-of-the-line performance, heavy-duty components, and can spread up to four products at the same time with variable rate.

V - Venturi 430
The Venturi 430 from RBR Enterprise drew plenty of traffic during the 2023 NFMS. The air spreader applicator delivers with high-output pneumatic systems, for precision application, even in the most unfavorable conditions.

W - Wright Implement
Wright Implement, a John Deere dealer serving Kentucky and Indiana, offered young attendees a chance to try the Mean Green Machine in the Billy Murphy Memorial Pedal Pull.

X - XAG Drone
Several agricultural spray drones were on display at the 2023 NFMS, including the XAG P100 drone from Pegasus Robotic.

Y - Yield Contest
Bayer showcased National Corn and Soybean Yield Contest winners via its DEKALB and Asgrow brands at the 2023 NFMS.

Z - Zero Down Time
NFMS spans 1.2 million square feet and features more than 800 booths of the ag industry’s latest and most comprehensive display of equipment, services, and technology. The event also features free seminars with topics ranging from carbon credits to the latest on sprayer technology. There's virtually no down time from the moment you enter the Kentucky Exposition Center, to the time you leave.

Bonus - Championship Tractor Pull
Without question the biggest draw at the NFMS was once again the Championship Tractor Pull at Freedom Hall, where thousands of fans filled Freedom Hall during the evenings. The high-octane intensity was highlighted by drivers competing in Pro Stocks, Super Stocks, Modified, and Alcohol Tractors, as well as two-wheel and four-wheel drive trucks.
